I recently received a warning for using the phrase "Jesus Christ" in a forum post here. I understand the rule against involving religion, but in this instance, it was not my intention. The video clip shared in the original forum post depicted several individuals being mass VDMed by a helicopter while we were simply socializing, listening to music, and dancing. As I tended to an injured friend, I was still processing the shocking events, which led me to utter "Jesus Christ."
In that context, my expression was not meant to be religious; rather, it was used as slang to convey surprise and shock. I am committed to adhering to the rules of the community, and I believe my punishment warrants reconsideration in light of the explanation I have provided. I would even appreciate if my punishment was changed from a warn to a mute.
