Hey,
I really wonder what the logic behind the server rules on GrandRP is. Who created them and why exactly like this? Take my report against another player here for example: Approved - DM in Greenzone | 65625
I reported the player, because he randomly shot at me in an unofficial greenzone. I simply drove away, since the other player broke the rules. The administration now thinks that I also broke a rule, by... what exactly? Not following the RP situation? But which RP situation exactly? There was none. You can't start an RP situation by breaking a rule. That's like a hacker or someone else holding a gun at your head and demanding from you to withdraw all your money you have from the bank and give it to him. Or how about giving them all your cars and your house because they demand it? Obviously, you don't have to do that or at least you wouldn't. But according to the admins (or the server rules), you have to follow the "RP" situation and do whatever someone demands in that situation or else you'll be punished too. If you follow the unrealistic RP situation, you'll also lose money / items / whatever. No matter what you do - If someone breaks the rules, you'll be punished too.
So, how far do you have to follow RP situations as a player to not be punished even if they are completely unrealistic? I don't really care about the punishment in my report. My point is: If I get punished no matter what I do (even if I'm not the one who breaks the rules), then why should anyone follow the server rules at all? How exactly does this help the role play on the server? If people have nothing to lose, they'll stop following the rules and start behaving like assholes, which is exactly what we see on the server. Nobody cares about the rules. Why should I then?
