Rejected Ban for Bug Abuse | Harrison Goodman

I received a 30 day block for Bug Abuse. To begin, this situation happened when I was transporting a 10-15 to the DOC as a LSPD Officer. I've been told to release clients before from speeding accidentally, so I tried cruise control to solve this. As this was practically my first time using cruise control throughout the city, I was unaware of what it would do on the highway. So, I kept it on at a steady speed, it went through without slowing me down. I've seen countless of other officers do this, even when I was trained the officer who trained me did it. I felt this was an unfair punishment as I was unaware of what I was doing wrong and I was not doing anything to get an advantage in an RP situation, all I did was transport a 10-15. I am also LSPD High Command, and I have big plans for the future in the city. I was wondering if this ban could be appealed, as I was unaware of what I was doing, I was never punished before for anything related to bug abuse, and I've seen countless of other officers do it, so I am just following their example.

How was I supposed to know this was an abused bug or not? The ability for cruise control is given to us, but we aren't told how it can't be used? I have never received any punishment before for bug abuse, and there is no where that we are taught or we are supposed to know how this is a bug. How is this a fair punishment?

I wasn't even using it to help me escape from anyone in any RP situation either, I was doing it to control my speed. Why does this result in a 30 day vacation when we aren't taught when we can and can't use cruise control? I mean I think demorgan or a warning would be okay but a 30 day seems extreme, especially as a HC who just came back to LSPD a day ago.
