It is a visual bug. Medkit does not heal you until it says "Successfully cured. So as you can see the animation is still on and after you die the notification appears.

Rejected - Possible cheats I 91038

After being shot at, i used a med kit. My health bar was full but somehow, I got one shot. Could be a bug or something. It is confusing so im posting it here.

According to this thread I think its a visual bug which the devs need to fix you can close this thread
