this animation bug You don't get full health until you finish the animation.

You were still in the animation of using the medkit while he killed you. as you can see in your pov you were cured after you died so its a visual bug that makes your health bar full before it actually heals you. You probably got 1 shot killed because your health bar was very low before you put the medkit on.
