Undeterred, Berk found work selling food. His relentless effort and keen business sense quickly earned him $50,000. With this money, he purchased a gun license and health insurance, setting the stage for a new career in the National Guard.
Starting as a Junior HR representative in the National Guard, Berk's dedication and attention to detail soon caught the eye of Justin Seagal, the Chief of Staff of HR. Impressed by Berk's work ethic and problem-solving skills, Justin Seagal promoted him to Deputy Head of Department (DHOD).
