I hope this message finds you well. I would like to address a recent incident where I was jailed by Admin Yaswanth Trigger for what was described as "Random Firing in a Green Zone (GZ)." I believe there has been a misunderstanding, and I would like to clarify the situation.
In the incident in question, as seen in the POV submitted on the forum, I was attempting to apprehend a suspect—a girl on a motorbike—who was fleeing from me. My intention was to use a taser to stop her, but due to the considerable distance between us, I was unable to effectively deploy the taser. Additionally, I was unable to issue a verbal 5-second warning because of the rapidly increasing distance.
Given the circumstances, I made a split-second decision to fire warning shots into the air as a means to signal the suspect to stop. In real-life situations, law enforcement officers often resort to warning shots as a last measure to prevent a suspect from fleeing, especially when other methods are not viable.
I would like to emphasize that my actions were not intended as random firing, but rather as an attempt to de-escalate the situation and apprehend the suspect without causing harm.
