Edge Saint was born and raised in the gang-ridden area of the Cape Flats in Cape Town. Growing up on the verge of poverty, she constantly had to find ways to survive by any means necessary. There were days without food or water, leading her to break into local corner shops in search of sustenance. Crime seemed ingrained in her DNA, making it almost impossible for her to avoid it. As Edge matured, she began to understand the difference between right and wrong. Despite this, she always had a lust for money and power. Seeing an opportunity to travel the world and fulfill her goals, she set off to Los Santos to become a powerful and wealthy figure. By the age of 25, she aimed to become a millionaire, though she wasn’t sure how to achieve this. Moving to Los Santos at 19, she had six years to reach her goal. From sleeping on the side of the road to living in a car, and eventually in a mansion, she did it all to feed her inner child’s ego
Career Story:
Edge’s first “job” was crime. She loved pickpocketing and robbing cars with open windows or shoplifting. She then formed a heist team with two friends, known as the “3 Thuggettes.” However, the constant toxicity within the group led her to leave and start her own journey. As a solo criminal, she began hitting stores by herself at night and became very successful. After countless store robberies, she finally got caught but managed to flee, disappearing without a trace. She hopped on the earliest plane out of Cape Town International Airport, which happened to be heading to Los Santos International Airport.
In Los Santos, her life took an unexpected turn. She became a soldier with the National Guard and decided to change her life for the better. After becoming a Private II, she realized there wasn’t much potential in it, so she joined the San Andreas Highway Patrol and became one of their best officers. However, witnessing gangs along the highways slowly drew her back into a life of crime. She eventually joined Marabunta and became known for being fearless and heartless.
Still not a millionaire, Edge needed a stable income. After clearing her name, she became a police officer and gained the trust of the city. People believed she was a good person, but she had a plan to gain trust only to backstab everyone and become the most corrupt yet seemingly normal cop to exist.
