Adaline Durden was born on a small island in Canada. Her mother was a poor woman who never had anything to pass down to her children, and her father was an abusive man. The island Adaline grew up on is a lonely, isolated place with little to do; because of this she was surrounded by illegal activity and corruption her whole life. Adaline has had friends die in front of her because of overdoses, car accidents, murders and suicides.
Her mother, Mira Saphira - although sweet and kind - had to resort to being a drug dealer who supplied drugs and weapons to people from unknown organizations.
Her father, Jack Masons, a man her mother met through the drug business, was a hitman who was barely home, but when he was - he would show more hatred toward his family than love.
Being caught up with the wrong people all the time, Adaline’s father felt it necessary to teach Adaline about self defense and weapons so she’d be able to protect herself if the time came.
Being very militant with the way he taught Adaline about self defense, physically and mentally abusing her until she was able to stick up for herself, Adaline has a short temper when it comes to disrespect.
Adaline Durden, in the middle of all of this illegal activity wanted to change the way things were; but quickly realized that she couldn’t make change in such a small place like her island, so she decided to move to Los Santos and try to make a difference within the state departments there.
After being in the city for a few years, trying her best to make a change in the city, Adaline was almost murdered by a group of strangers on her way to work.
After reporting the incident to the police, Adaline sat in the hospital for two weeks waiting for any response about her attackers.
After not hearing from the police for two weeks, she decided to ask what was taking them so long. The police told her that case was not in the system and they didn’t know what she was talking about
Feeling like she was forgotten and betrayed by the city she was trying to save, losing all hope in the system and realizing that there is no true sense of justice in the world, Adaline decides to take a page from her mothers book.
Being happy and living well was better than fighting for a world that doesn’t want to be saved, Adaline has turned to more corrupted ways to make a living.

- Adaline will always have a bodycam on because living in such a high-crime area once she was younger and having an abusive father, she has become super paranoid.
- Adaline will be able to revive others while in a gunfight because she has seen too many of her friends die in front of her.
- Adaline will be able to pick things up in combat and sell the guns she picks up from fights/busts to make money on the side since she was poor her whole life.
- Adaline has the confidence to take on multiple people at once (1v2s) in a gunfight because of her past experiences needing to defend herself from bad people.
- Adaline is corrupt by laundering and deceiving from her place of work and friends in mischievous ways (excluding armory items, org balance) because of the way she was raised as a child
- Adaline will be able to take bribes if in a legal org because of her past experiences with her mother and learning about the ways of her “trade”
