However, the reason that made Chiko want to become an officer in spite of his doubts was serving the citizens. With a determination to make his dream a reality, he spent each day studying. Until finally, his efforts paid off, and he joined the Los Santos Police Department as a patrol officer.

On the NG, he got tempted into corruption and became a wealthy man by illegal means. Then, one day, somebody caught him, but there was no evidence against Chiko, and hence no actions were taken due to no bodycams capturing his activity.
This was the wake-up call for Chiko. Since then, he promised himself that he would not be into corruption again. Chiko worked so hard to get back his reputation and proved himself as a real honest officer who actually serves the citizens of Los Santos. Now, Chiko is one respected police officer serving his community with integrity makes him happy.
