San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP): A Goal-Oriented Force for Law and Order
Introduction:
The San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP) is a law enforcement agency committed to ensuring safety, order, and security on the highways of San Andreas. Under the leadership of Sheriff Mtemiii Cruize, the department operates with precision, discipline, and a strong focus on measurable goals.

SAHP’s Responsibilities
SAHP troopers play a crucial role in law enforcement, performing tasks such as:- Highway Patrol & Traffic Enforcement – Keeping roads safe, enforcing speed limits, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws.
- Crime Investigation & Response – Detecting, preventing, and investigating criminal activities.
- Emergency Response – Assisting citizens, handling accidents, and managing high-risk situations.
- Inter-Agency Collaboration – Working with the LSPD, FIB, NG and GOV to enhance public safety.
Departments & Specialized Units
The SAHP is structured into multiple specialized units to ensure maximum efficiency and coverage:1. Traffic Enforcement & Patrol Unit (TEPU)
- Focuses on highway patrol, speed enforcement, accident response, and vehicle inspections.
- Manages high-speed chases and removes illegally parked or uninsured vehicles.
2. SWAT Team
- Handles high-risk operations, including hostage rescues, counter-terrorism, and violent crime response.
- Operates with elite tactical gear and extensive firearms training.
3. Undercover Units
- Conducts covert operations to infiltrate criminal organizations and gather intelligence.
- Operates with discretion, using unmarked vehicles and undercover identities.
4. Public Relations (PR) Division
- Strengthens community relations through media management, public events, and outreach programs.
- Ensures transparency between SAHP and the citizens of San Andreas.
5. Internal Affairs (IA)
- Investigates misconduct within the SAHP, ensuring accountability and professionalism.
- Handles disciplinary actions and policy enforcement.
6. Human Resources (HR)
- Oversees recruitment, promotions, and officer training.
- Manages employee benefits, grievances, and departmental policies.
7. District Attorneys (DA) Division
- A young but rapidly growing team of legal professionals representing SAHP in court.
- Prosecutes criminal cases, ensures officer legal protection, and advises on law enforcement matters.
SAHP Training: Four Phases to Excellence
Every recruit undergoes a structured four-phase training program before becoming a full-fledged officer:Phase 1 – Basic Entry-Level Training
- Covers fundamental law enforcement techniques, procedures, and regulations.
Phase 2 – Department-Based Operations Training
- Specialized training based on the department the recruit is joining.
- Each department has a dedicated trainer responsible for role-specific instruction.
Phase 3 – Code of Conduct & Penal Code Training
- Ensures all officers understand legal procedures, department policies, and ethics.
Phase 4 – High Command Training
- Mandatory for all High Command officers.
- Also available for non-high command members preparing for promotion.
Work Schedule: Focused on Impactful Engagement
Unlike standard shifts, SAHP officers do not work on a fixed hourly basis. Instead, they are expected to:- Mid & Low Commands: Attend AT LEAST three different events during either the day or night shift.
- High Commands: Attend ALL scheduled events during their designated shift.

SAHP Chain of Command
SAHP maintains a clear and structured hierarchy, ensuring efficient leadership and decision-making.High Command (Ranks 30-23):
30 - Sheriff – Head of SAHP, responsible for overall leadership and operations.29 - Undersheriff – Second-in-command, overseeing major operations and administration.
28 - Chief of Staff – Senior advisor, managing internal affairs and executive decisions.
27 - Commander (3) – Supervises multiple divisions, enforcing department-wide policies.
26 - Head of Department (2) – Leads a specific SAHP department (e.g., TEPU, SWAT, PR).
25 - Deputy Head of Department (2) – Assists and steps in for the Head of Department.
24 - US Marshal – Oversees the operations of the Specialized united. Under the supervision of the Head of the Department.
23 - District Attorney – Prosecutes cases and advises officers on legal matters.
Mid Command & Specialized Units (Ranks 22-18):
22 - Division Supervisor – Leads specialized units like SWAT, Undercover, and TEPU.21 - Executive Officer – Oversees operations, policies, and departmental compliance.
20 - Inspector – High-ranking investigator managing major cases.
19 - Sub-Inspector – Assists in investigations and supervises detectives.
18 - Captain – Commands a precinct or division, ensuring smooth law enforcement.
Detective Bureau & Investigations (Ranks 17-13)
17 - Lieutenant – Oversees patrol operations and supervises sergeants.16 - Master Detective – Leads high-profile investigations.
15 - Senior Detective – Handles serious and complex criminal cases.
14 - Detective II – Investigates mid-level crimes.
13 - Junior Detective – Entry-level investigator assisting in casework.
Patrol Division (Ranks 12-6)
12 - Sergeant II – First-line supervisor, responsible for training and field leadership.11 - Sergeant - Works with the patrol troopers in operations.
10 - K-9 Unit Officer – Works with trained police dogs in operations.
9 - Master Trooper – Senior field officer with leadership responsibilities.
8 - Trooper III – Advanced-level patrol officer.
7 - Trooper II – Mid-level patrol officer.
6 - Trooper I – Entry-level highway patrol officer.
Recruitment & Training (Ranks 5-3)
5 - Junior Trooper – Recently graduated patrol officer.4 - Probationary Officer – New recruit under field evaluation.
3 - Trainee – Undergoing academy training.
Administrative & Leave Status (Ranks 2-1)
2 - Leave of Absence (LOA) – Temporarily away with approval.1 - Suspended – Officer under disciplinary review.
How to Join SAHP
The SAHP selection process is rigorous, ensuring only the most dedicated and capable individuals become troopers:- Age Requirement. At least 5 years old (IC)
- No criminal record (applicants with prison terms must clear their records before applying)
- Medical Insurance and Gun license
- No Face nor Hand Tattoos that are gang affiliated
- At least Level 2 backpack
- Application Submission on SAHP Mails or coming to our HQ directly for interview
- Possession of a functioning Voice box
- Oral Interview & Background Check
- Psychological & Medical Evaluations
- Four-Phase Training Completion
