I'm writing to appeal the 15-day ban I received for allegedly violating Rule 1.7, which requires all event participants to record their POV and retain it for 48 hours.
I fully acknowledge the importance of this rule, and I make every effort to ensure I'm always recording my POV during events. However, in this particular situation, the circumstances were out of my control. Another player unexpectedly drove me into the event zone, and I didn't have the chance to start my recording before being eliminated almost immediately upon entering. Unfortunately, this left me without any POV footage.
I understand the need for fairness and accountability in the event, and I take full responsibility for ensuring my POV is always recorded moving forward. However, I kindly ask that you reconsider the ban given that this was an unforeseeable situation.
