Life Story:
John McClane was born on May 23 1991 in New Jersey, USA to a Police father figure and his mother who was a house cleaner. Growing up with a policeman for a father, Johns childhood was rough and very strict and it took a toll on him both physically and mentally. Because of this John decided to enlist and serve in the USMC where he gathered all of his combat and tactical experience that shaped him into the man he is today. After the military John pursued the career in Law Enforcement like his father. He became a detective for The New York Police Department as a Detective Lieutenant. John has had a few very close calls with death. After the events of Nakatomi Plaza, the Dulles International Airport and the narrow escape from cunning and manipulative psychopath Simon Gruber John got separated from his wife because the constant danger put his family at risk. John decided to move to Los Santos to escape his enemies and experience a more quiet life. Because of his experience he was accepted into the Federal Investigation Bureau as a Chief of Staff, a position that pays well and keeps him off the streets and out of harms way.
Career Story:
John really enjoyed his new quiet single life in Los Santos. No one was bothering him for anything as long as he did his job which was mostly paperwork. That was until a group of Hacker Terrorists called The Blackout Syndicate decide to ruin Johns newfound life. They threatened everything John has worked hard for. The terrorists committed atrocious crimes and put all the blame on John McClane. John was almost ruined but something inside his head had snapped. If you can't beat them, join them! John decided he will no longer be a good guy. He was going to along with everything he is being accused of. Bribery, Releasing suspects left and right, leaking classified information to terrorists and gang members, organizing prison breaks and help individual suspects escape from custody. He was making money out of it as well. Lots of money. And no one was blaming him because everyone knew of the Blackout Syndicate was trying set John up but John would just blame the Hackers for the things he actually did. It was the perfect plan. He gets back in the action and makes a whole lot of money and gets off scot free for doing it. John started caring for the law less and less, breaking every penal and traffic code there is, the very laws he swore to protect. He didn't care if he did it on duty or off duty. John went completely dark! John didn't even shy from murder, the capitol crime, if it meant that his newfound operation was at risk. John would not think twice to use violence to eliminate anyone who dared expose his secrets when things got beyond his control. He would even throw people off cliffs if it meant that their bodies were never going to be found.

- John McClane can accept bribes up to $100K (or equivalent value in illegal firearms/items) but cannot take a bribe to be a hostage.
- John McClane can break state laws while on or off duty to carry out corruption.
