Hello,

I was hoping for some clarification surround this situation. I have checked with multiple admins in the past and I was always told that once RP is initiated by demands and 5s passed, there is no need for further demands.

I think it's not very realistic if after demands are given and the 5s pass, we still have to give demands back while running around trying to avoid getting shot until we can shoot back. In this case, the person initiating clearly has a few seconds advantage until we realize what's happening, give demands back and wait for another 5s to pass.

My question is, why do we still have to give demands even if RP has been initiated? The same 5 seconds should apply for both persons involved.

RDM is an acronym for random death match. It means causing damage to other players for no reason.

In other words, it refers to the act of killing another player without engaging in any meaningful roleplay or justification for the action.

There is nothing random in the way that guy was killed, and having RP initiated by demands and getting shot at is a good reason to retaliate.

I responded to demands and getting shot at. I don't think it's better roleplay to just sit still and wait to get killed.
