As a SAHP officer, I’ve always treated procedure and thoroughness as my top priority. In this situation, my understanding of GR6.1 led to a professional misunderstanding. Since my /try commands were repeatedly unsuccessful, I genuinely believed the system was bugged, which is why I attempted it a third time. My only intention was to ensure my 10-15 did not keep their phone or radio, as per standard procedure.
There was no attempt to exploit or bypass rules — just a misinterpretation of how the system was functioning. Considering the context, a warn feels a bit heavy for what was clearly an operational misunderstanding rather than deliberate misuse. I request the team to review the situation accordingly.
