Life Story​

Artur Ryu was raised in a dry and bustling portion of Rajkot, India, where ambition often outran opportunity. With a single mother who worked long hours behind a sewing machine, the only things Artur grew up hearing about were stories of Los Santos, a dazzling city halfway around the world where it felt like wealth was within reach. So at 16, as he wanted to escape this grind more than anything, he gathered every rupee he could find and bought a one-way ticket to Los Santos. Upon arriving in the city, he quickly learned hard lessons of cultural dislocation, competing for subsistence jobs among many, and tiresome obstacles. Seeing the city’s elite living lavishly while he worked multiple part time jobs blurred the lines between right and wrong and planted seeds of disappointment that firmly set in his heart.

Career Story​

At the age of 18, Artur started working with the LSPD as a cadet, thinking that working at a police department would give him stability. He was crafty and eloquent and it didn't take long until he was promoted to patrol officer. Unfortunately, the LSPD was nothing like his imagined workplace. He could not believe what he was seeing, superiors pocketing bribes, abusing power, and having that power used to force good officers to sit around in stupid flop spots. One night during an operation, he had arranged a great sting operation that ended with a huge bus, only to have some scummy lieutenant swoop in and steal the credit and deny Artur. Disenchanted and disheartened, Artur began to reflect on everything he was seeing and more and more distrustful of the system, which went from a flawed system to an opportunity. His badge went from a symbol of justice to a ticket to money and power, in his own corrupt sub-culture.

5. Hostage Hustler: Offers himself as a hostage for as much as a $100k bribe (role-play by using /me, /do; for each stage involved , a /try only gives him a 40% chance of avoiding any sort of contact , with the risk of being charged).

6. Torture Tactician: Tortures non-compliant suspects as a way to instill obedience (role-play using /me and /do; if this happens to be witnessed, /try gives him a 50% chance - and more if he is targeted as a L.A.P.D. member by I.A. after - and gives him a way to evade).

7. Bodycam Breaker: Breaks the body camera of a suspect in order to lessen or eliminate evidence being obtained (role-play as earlier, using /me and /do; /try will have a 50% chance - and higher if there is an I.A investigation).

8. Jailbreak Broker: Releases inmates for as much as $100k (role-play by negotiation using /me and /do); there is a risk of arranged communication being detected if pressured or uncovered in any pending investigation. Investigation leaves /try with a 50% chance that he risks exposure if the subject of an investigation.

9. Shady Communicator: Uses an organization radio where Artur is off-duty, and possibly a fake I.D (role-play using /me , /do; and /try will have a 50% chance if L.E.O.s are directly on him).

10. Evidence Manipulator: Plants or destroys evidence to frame/save (role-play using /me, /do; 50% chance if subject to any investigation; clear risk in being demoted) at all costs.
