Date and time of the event: 4/06/2025. The time will be decided depending on the availability of curators.

The organisation that is conducting the event is LSPD

Event details:
The scene opens during an internal affairs (IA) meeting at LSPD headquarters, where officers are reviewing employee activity logs. During the review, they notice prolonged inactivity from one of their Division Heads of Department (DHOD). Attempts to contact him go unanswered.

Concerned, a small team of officers visits his residence. After knocking with no response, they question neighbours, only for one officer to spot a blood trail leading from the front steps. They immediately notify Dispatch and breach the home. Inside, they discover a horrifying scene: the DHOD and his entire family have been murdered.

The case is escalated instantly. Senior officials are briefed, and the CID arrives to secure the scene, document evidence, and begin the investigation. Due to the complexity of the crime, all top detectives from across San Andreas are summoned to the Capitol’s meeting room.

Teams of three are formed, and each group receives a detailed case file, including:
• Victim profiles
• Last known whereabouts
• Time of death
• Initial clues
• A suspect list

Clues are hidden across 3–5 marked investigation zones. Detective teams must:
• Visit crime scenes to gather additional evidence
• Interrogate witnesses and potential suspects
• Analyse forensic and circumstantial evidence
• Collaborate and compile a comprehensive final report before the time limit ends

Meanwhile, criminal organisations (gangs) become aware of the ongoing investigation. Using inside information leaked by a corrupt LSPD officer (the mole), they attempt to sabotage the detectives by ambushing them, disrupting evidence gathering, and ultimately trying to eliminate the investigative teams.

Role of Each Organisation Involved:

LSPD (Los Santos Police Department):

• Main organiser and lead law enforcement agency.
• Secures the crime scene, manages event flow, assigns detective teams, and provides the case file.
• Judges final reports and declares the winners.

CID (Criminal Investigation Division):
• Handles forensic analysis and advanced evidence processing.
• Collects clues such as DNA and fingerprints.
• Supports interrogations and provides technical intelligence to detective teams.

EMS (Emergency Medical Services):
• Provides a detailed post-mortem report.
• Offers medical insights and responds to any injuries during the event.

Gangs (Criminal Side):
• Sabotage the investigation by interfering with detectives.
• Coordinate with a mole (corrupt cop) to gather insider information.
• Aim to eliminate all distractions or delay the investigation past the deadline.

Government:
• Coordinates with media (LI) who receive information and gather at the Capitol.
• Hosts the official press conference at the Capitol’s meeting room during the event.
• Provides a conference room for detectives to gather, discuss, and review evidence.

Other organisations involved: EMS, FIB, GOV
