Ezio DeCosta was born in Goa, in a small sea town where life moved slow and serene. His parents were quiet and nice individuals until an instant blaze robbed his world of everything. The police labeled it an accident, but for Ezio, something was hidden and covered; he opted for law enforcement for all the answers so he could correct a damaged system. The deeper he dug, the more corruption he came across. Tired of deception, Ezio moved to Los Santos to start fresh. The city was louder, dirtier but truthful. Now, Ezio no longer seeks justice. He plays smart, survives, and gets by. Behind the serene face is a man who believes in little, observes everything, and never misses a deception. For Ezio, truth isn't something that can be discovered it's something you reclaim, bit by bit.
Career Story (100+ words)
Ezio DeCosta was not a hero of the LSPD. At first, he was a true believer in the badge to make a difference, do good. Los Santos was not like he thought it would be. Justice had a price, and regulations were for individuals who had no power. Ezio changed slowly. He knew when to talk and when to remain silent. A few shortcuts turned into favors. Favors turned into power. Now, he keeps the system going, even if it means doing it illegally. He's not a proud man, but in this city, it's not always easy to act honorably. Sometimes one has to put survival first.
He sleeps lightly, trusts little, and bears the burden of decisions he never wanted to take. Deep within him, a part of him still wishes he hasn't gone too far to turn back.
