As you can see from this forum, I am an officer. My responsibility is to protect the prison from threats such as USB viruses or suspect escape attempts. I also have the authority to confiscate any illegal items, as the Department of Corrections (DOC) is a law-enforced facility where no suspect is allowed to possess prohibited items.

In this case, the individual in question incorrectly stated that I cannot search him without a reason. However, since he is in prison, searches are part of standard procedure to ensure safety and compliance. Therefore, I conducted a search to check for any illegal items.
