Hello, administrators,
I am writing regarding my 60-day ban for using a fishing macro, GR 4.1. I completely understand that using any kind of software or macro is considered as giving an unfair advantage, and I sincerely apologize for doing so.
At the time, I was trying to complete a battle pass task (“Catch 5 Salmon”) while studying for school, and I made a stupid decision thinking it would be harmless. But I was completely wrong. I’ve re-read rule 4.1 and fully understand now that this kind of behavior is not tolerated.
This was my first serious punishment on the server. I’ve only had a warn before this. I’ve been playing for about a month, and I already reached level 14 and invested a lot of time and effort into my roleplay character and the community. I really enjoy the time I’ve spent on Grand RP with my real life friend (who plays my RP brother), and I’ve missed Grand RP a lot since my ban a week ago.
I know that “I didn’t know” is not an excuse, but I hope my honesty and my motivation to learn from this can be taken into account. I completely accept the staff’s decision and I’m not trying to contest it. I just wanted to sincerely ask if you could consider a reduction of the punishment, as I truly regret my actions and will never repeat such a mistake.
