After joining SAHP, Derek Russo rose quickly through the ranks. He handled traffic enforcement, freeway patrols, even had a stint in the special traffic interdiction unit. Admired for His skill behind the wheel and respected by peers, he earned the trust of the department. Then came the turning point: during a bust of a major smuggling ring, a suspect dropped a proposition — let him go, funnel half his take to you, and we’ll keep our operation quiet. The offer distracted Derek from the oath he had sworn. He realized they could drive, He could enforce — but He could also profit.

1. Derek can use illegal firearms and painted ones both on and off duty, whether acquired through personal purchase or looting/robbing from his victims.
