2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)
2.1 My knowledge and understanding of the organization have grown a lot during my time in Emergency Medical Services. Having served in both high-command and standard roles, I have gained a well-rounded view of how EMS operates at every level. My dream has always been to lead EMS with excellence. I want to create an environment where every employee has the chance to grow, improve, and feel motivated to do their best. As a leader, I work hard to set a high standard through dedication, commitment, and clear direction for the organization.
2.2 During my time in high command, I have learned about the many challenges that come with leadership. My experience in EMS has given me valuable insight into how leaders tackle these challenges and how different leadership styles affect the organization overall. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the ability to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure. I've also developed the mindset to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur.
2.3 Right now, Maintaining staffing in the lobbies at night is currently one of our largest challenges. Giving them well-earned bonuses for their efforts is, in my opinion, the best way to motivate them to schedule those late shifts in advance. I will do whatever it takes to show my gratitude and support to those who volunteer for night shifts. I'm convinced that we can maintain every lobby fully staffed around-the-clock with the help of my team and our employees.
3. Your advice for improving the RolePlay level in the organization.
3.1 I believe the best way to improve roleplay quality in our organization is by involving our members—especially those ranked Resident or Emergency Responder and above—in more interactive RP situations. Situations where members get to administer adrenaline shots to LEOs or participate in major city events such as ACC, SUBS, or prison breaks will give the members hands-on experience, boost their confidence, and ignite creativity for future RP interactions. This will strengthen not only their EMS roleplay but also their overall RP presence in the city.
3.2 I also intend to concentrate on supporting our Field Training Officers to invest more time in the proper training of new recruits. Giving freshers the right attention early on helps them build confidence and avoid rookie mistakes. FTOs are indeed the backbone of our organization; they set a foundation for the new members to grow through dedication and passion. Strengthening their efforts will enhance teamwork and raise overall RP standards across EMS.
