Good evening admins,
I’d like to understand why this was considered Fail RP. From our point of view, we were simply acting in character as gangsters — not as professionals or officers. We were up on the Bloods’ parking lot, just dancing and joking around while waiting for the police to show up. The hostages were secured in the corner with other members nearby, and at no point were they put at risk. It was just some light roleplay to pass the time.
The moment law enforcement arrived, we stopped immediately and shifted into proper negotiations. I’m just looking for some clarity — is it against the rules to use emotes or have a bit of fun during the waiting period of a hostage situation? I’ve seen plenty of scenarios where people do the same while keeping things realistic and controlled, so I’d like to know where the line is drawn.
Thank you for taking the time to explain this.
