First and foremost, a wonderful day to whoever is reading this, I would like to ask higher ups to keep this for Bobby, thank you.
Dear Bobby,
I recently received an org warning for multiple members being punished for FailRP during a hostage situation. I do respect your decision, especially the answer you gave to this appeal and I do agree with you on that part, we should not behave like clowns.
I do still wonder though, which emotes we are allowed to do. And I do like to give you some context for this. Currently, Bloods is the most active gang, we had multiple store robberies where Leos would leave the scene instead of fighting us, the same is happening during a lot of hostage situations, even if we do those type of situations outside of the ghetto, in my personal view it would make us as gangsters a bit cocky, so eventually we will stand at negotiations eating popcorn (which let's be honest would be a big disadvantage to ourself as the moment the gunfight starts, we have to stop the emote and quickly take out a gun) or even doing a standing emote where we would just patienly wait. Furthermore, I do think having some clarity would be good for all organisations, as for example when I was a leo I would go back to the car, taking out a bag with money as why would I have so much money on my person?
At the end, all I am asking for is some clarification on the emotes, are we allowed to sit down while waiting? Are we allowed to be cocky and eat popcorn? Are we allowed to do the hands in pockets animation while negotiating? Or should we just see it like we can use emotes as long as the emotes do not disrespect the seriousness of the situation? Because at the end of the day, we have those emotes for a reason and they do bring depth into the roleplay if used in the correct ways.
Thank you so much already for reading this and again have an amazing day.
