Hello,
I’m writing to explain what I believe is a misunderstanding related to my 60-day ban under Rule 1.4.
Character 508065 belongs to my wife, Maddie. She plays on her own laptop.
My two characters are Hank and Bobert, which I normally play on my personal PC.
This past weekend, I was visiting my parents and staying at their house. Since I did not have my PC with me, I brought my wife’s laptop and logged into Bobert’s account to play temporarily. At no point was this done to bypass rules, gain an advantage, or share accounts — it was simply me accessing my own character from a different device while away from home.
After I logged out of Bobert, my wife later logged into her own account (character 508065) on the same laptop to ensure her account was safe. Shortly after, both accounts showed 60-day bans.
I believe the system may have flagged this as account sharing or related activity due to the same device/IP being used while we were traveling. This was not intentional rule-breaking, and there was no attempt to conceal identity or exploit gameplay.
I’m happy to provide any verification needed to confirm:
Separate ownership of the accounts
Separate characters
Marriage/shared household
Travel context during the time in question
I respectfully ask that this be reviewed, as I believe this was an honest misunderstanding.
Thank you for your consideration and time.
