Hello,
I am writing this appeal to respectfully request a review of my 7-day ban, which I believe was given unfairly.
During an admin event, a Red Light – Green Light game was being hosted. Throughout the event, the admin repeatedly made spelling mistakes in the commands(you can see in the video i sent) which caused confusion among the players. At the final round, “Red Light” was written incorrectly, and because of this mistake, several players (including me) started running, assuming it was allowed.
After this, players were shot. Before I died, the admin realized the mistake and wrote “stop shooting”,(you can also see this in the video) but despite this, I was still killed.
After I died, I politely wrote in admin chat asking to be teleported back, explaining that the death happened due to the admin’s mistake. Unfortunately, I was ignored.
Later, I stated in admin chat that I would like to share this situation on the forum so that higher administrators could review it, and I also said that if someone is not fully confident in hosting events, they should practice before doing so.
I did not insult, threaten, or use offensive language toward the administration. My intention was only to defend my rights and ask for a fair review of the situation.
If there was any mistake in my tone due to the heat of the moment, I sincerely apologize for it.
Despite this, I was banned for 7 days under Rule 5.2:
I fully respect the server rules and the administration team. However, I believe that calmly requesting a forum review and expressing criticism in a respectful manner should not be considered inadequate behavior. For this reason, I do not understand why this resulted in a 7-day ban. In my opinion, administrators should show a bit more leniency toward players in such situations. We all have difficult days at times, but the consequences of any decision can have a significant impact on players. Therefore, I kindly request that this matter be shared with and reviewed by the entire administration team.
For these reasons, I kindly ask for this ban to be reviewed and reconsidered by higher administrators.
