I’m reaching out to respectfully appeal my recent ban on Racism and to clarify the situation from my side. The comment that resulted in the ban was said toward a close friend of mine during a joking exchange (we are very close friends and no one takes anything on heart). There was no racist intent behind it, and the person it was directed to did not feel offended or targeted. However, I understand that without that personal context and especially from an admin’s perspective what I said was inappropriate and goes against the server rules.
I want to acknowledge that regardless of intent, language like this has no place on the server. I recognize that admins must act based on what is seen and heard, not on private intent or friendships.
I take responsibility for my mistake and apologise for my behaviour. If given another opportunity, I will make sure my actions and language fully align with server rules and expectations so there is no chance of misinterpretation again. Lastly, I keep my punishment history clean and don't break any rules. Still, I understand that from an admin's pov.
