Life Story: Born and raised in the old North German merchant capitol of Hamburg, Thomas Slock was born into wealth and prestige with roots going way back into the past "Deutscher Adel" or German nobility before they had their rights curtailed. However the lack of a proper title has never stopped him from acting with the same measure of arrogance and self righteousness as a real noble would, educated in the home country, Thomas has taken a firm liking to America ever since he arrived, and has wasted no time in mingling with the high and mighty, attending large parties and lavish banquets, keen to earn himself the protection of friends he often uses theese banquets and parties to get closer to those he believe will serve his purposes well, his...And those of the house of Slock. Stories from his past are few and far between, apart from his family no one truely knows how he spent his youth, although if his personal habits were anything to guess from he had likely enjoyed his close proximity to the Elbe and the north sea as he is often seen swimming about in any body of water that he discovers, finding the love of his life before venturing to the west the two of them went in advance of the rest of the house to make a name for themselves before the arrival of the rest of house. Career Story: Arriving in America Thomas was quick to pick up the local tongue and customs, easily fitting in amongst the crooked the corrupt and the scum of the earth to which he was made a kingpin within weeks, enjoying his lifestyle of crime and corruption he was only derailed from this path during the election times when visited by one of the candidates they spoke for a long while and reached a level of mutual respect, especially after having shown of his coordination and people skills, forming an impromptu convoy for the future Governor whom took a liking to the young German aristocrat, offering him a second chance in life to make, a chance he took up on immediatly. Betraying the criminals he had only days before worked with, he went straight to the Government with his most trusted lieutenants earning himself a captains rank swiftly only to once more showcase his abilities and devotion to the Governor whom helped him achieve his new status and prestige. Determined now to serve the interests of his new boss with surprising zeal (And his own in the process) he will go to any length to achieve his goals. Now later on he has become chief of staff of Government and with his position secured for the first time his past habits slowly return to him as his utter lack of compassion and callous disregard for rules starts showing through the cracks.
Outcomes:
1- Thomas having spent much of his youth in the Elbe and North-sea is an exceptional swimmer and in good physical shape.
2- Thomas is happy to both give and accept bribes with few scruples as to why. (In the best interests of the Government)
