on 10th of June at approximately 20:00 an officer, named Marvin Shelby, was taken hostage during a routine patrol of Paleto Bay, during the hostage situation one of the hostage takers identify themselves as Tyrone Dior because he was looking to get an arrest warrant on his name.

I then proceeded to get an arrest warrant on Tyrone Dior and it was finally accepted by Attorney General on 14th of June, at that time Tyrone Dior was in FIB as Head of Department
After FIB received the arrest warrant, Tyrone Dior decided to change his last name to Haze "Tyrone Haze" and stayed in the organization without any problems although having same appearance, voice, exact same position in FIB etc..

Now it is argued that Tyrone Haze is a different person than Tyrone Dior, and it's interesting where Tyrone Haze comes from though and immediately gets a High Command position in FIB which can not happen if he is a random person.

This kind of name change denies DOJ its powers to prosecute criminals, and makes insanely easy for criminals to escape justice by just changing one letter in their name

Changing name illegally is a proper RP situation which should change your name and maybe clear your record but not make you a whole different person
He effectively escaped RP situation by changing his name but stayed in his position as HOD of FIB

It's never been corrupt to change the name - a process in which when you're hired, you go to clear your record for... "DOC name change = new person"

What does seem off is why wait till he's in FIB to action and provide POV from 3 days later? Bad blood?

The warrant alone on the illegal activity that occurs when any org disbands shows there must be some kind of vendetta as no one chases it 4 days after the fact - but to come to the forums just solidifies you're just salty and have no aspirations to actually mend FIB/SAHP relations...

This is a common problem and we need a clarification on how things should work in these kind of situations, that's why I went OOC

- People cannot change their name illegally. Both options to change the name are in secures buildings, Capitol and DOC. Therefore corruption based on name change is not applicable.
- Corruption is not applicable as the incident happened before FIB was an active organization.
- General rule 6.2 does not apply as changing his name is done in a secure location. If GOV thought he shouldn't be allowed to change his name due to an arrest warrant they should have detained him there instead of letting him go and talk to the guy that allows name changes. Clearly GOV allowed him through and which makes changing the name part of RP.
- When someone gets hired into any legal org they run a background check on the person. I am sure he was clean when he joined FIB. Him getting HC is non of your business, thats up to the director. I am sure he is capable of deciding that.
- You could have just asked your curator or senior curator for OOC clarification, forums are meant for punishments, not clarifications.

I really find it sad to see you take an IC issue to OOC. I remember you as someone who was able to deal with things IC properly, it makes me sad to see that has changed.

Tyrell, although I appreciate you sharing your view on this matter I posted this thread in hopes that admins would be the ones ruling it and I've made a complaint after consulting few curators and senior curator of the state.

They will rule on it for sure, I just felt like sharing my thoughts. In my eyes the complaint is wrong and should be rejected. Most important was that it makes me sad to see you go this way.

It is what it is, cannot undo things that happened so lets wait for them to rule on it.
