If possible, I would really like to get a Curator's perspective on this.
I was banned and blacklisted by Administrator Johnny_Odds for "Cheats".I understand how serious this sound, but I will explain the context behind it, as it was a result of a very poor personal decision rather than actual cheating.
At the time, I was struggling to balance my job and my passion for the game. To force myself to take a necessary break, I asked the staff to ban me. When I was told that "voluntary bans" aren't an option, I made the mistake of lying. I called an admin over and claimed I was using cheats, hoping for a permanent ban just to keep myself away from the screen. And his colleague, Johnny_Odds banned me.
I'd also like to mention that there's never been an anti-cheat warning against me, nor is there any footage or logs of me actually cheating. The only reason I was banned is because of my own words. I realize now how stupid it was to waste the administration’s time like that. I know it’s ironic that I’m now fighting a punishment I actually asked for, but the truth is I’ve never been a cheater. I just needed a break and handled it in the worst way possible..
I previously tried to reach out on my other forum account (Mayor_John), but an Admin banned me there too, saying that cheaters aren't allowed to appeal. I completely agree with that rule, but it’s frustrating because I’m actually not one of them. I’m just an idiot who made a dumb mistake by lying about cheating, all because I needed a break from the game.
I apologize to this community for doing so. Please Sir, reconsider this if you can, a new chance would mean a lot to me. I won't make such a move ever again.
