I am writing this final appeal regarding my permanent ban on February 8, 2024. I have now been away from the server for over 26 months (800+ days), and I am asking for a chance to return to the account where I invested 4,000 hours.
The situation that led to my ban was a complete oversight. I had participated in an event and was killed; I then opened a forum thread to request the POV of the player who killed me. While the admin was reviewing my request, they noticed a "brand name" on my custom minimap. I was using that mod purely for aesthetic reasons and was completely unaware that it contained the name of a cheat software.
I want to emphasize this: I was the one who submitted the video to the forum. If my intention had been to promote cheats or use illegal software, I would never have shared my own screen for the administration to inspect. I was simply a dedicated player trying to follow the forum rules, and I fell victim to my own lack of caution regarding visual mods.
I have spent more than two years reflecting on this mistake. I have lost my friends, my hard-earned progress, and the community I loved over a minimap logo. I am ready for a full money wipe and I guarantee that I will only play on a 100% clean, vanilla game version from now on.
Please consider the 800 days I have already served as a punishment for this unintentional mistake. I am a veteran of this project and I sincerely wish to come back home.
