Rejected Complaint against vandalism

Hello admin, I was driving my car and accidentally hit something. I flew into their car in the opposite direction by mistake, and they took me and asked me if I would give them money or go to jail. I told them jail, but they said I would only get 100,000-200,000 in fines. I didn't kill anyone or do anything criminal; I just hit them by mistake, and I have video footage. Does this count for me or against me?
