Our experience – please be careful

Hello everyone,



I’m writing this because we’ve reached a point where we honestly feel nothing but frustration and disappointment.



We were sanctioned for account sharing – yes, we are aware that this is against the rules. But this had been going on for years within the same household, same IP, simply because we helped each other out when, for example, the kids were using one of the PCs. It was never about gaining an advantage or exploiting anything – just about playing.



And what really hurts:
Throughout all this time, we were never negatively noticed. No bans, no timeouts, no incidents – nothing. We always tried to behave properly and play fair.



And now?
Now we lose everything.



Two companies, our house, our entire progress – everything we built over a long time, with a lot of effort and heart put into it.



What disappoints us the most is not just the punishment itself, but how it has been handled.
No matter what we suggested, no matter how we tried to find a solution – it felt like it didn’t matter at all. From our perspective, there was no willingness whatsoever to even consider any kind of alternative, even though the consequences for us are extreme.



It feels like everything we invested and built up over years is simply being disregarded.



In the end, what remains is the feeling that everything we worked for has been taken away within a very short time.



So here’s our honest advice to everyone:
Don’t assume something is “okay” just because it worked for a long time – even within the same household. If it’s against the rules, it can be enforced at any time, and the consequences can cost you everything.



We didn’t want to just stay silent about this – we wanted to be honest about how this feels.
