2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)
1. To build a structured and supportive environment
I want to lead SAHP to create a department where officers actually feel motivated to stay and improve. From what I have seen, people usually leave when they feel ignored or when their efforts aren’t recognized. I want to change that by keeping the department well-organized and making sure everyone clearly understands their role. I’ll hold regular meetings to listen to concerns and feedback, and more importantly, I’ll stay approachable as a leader. I want officers to feel comfortable coming to me, whether it’s about duty-related issues or something within the organization. A supportive and structured environment keeps people active, reduces confusion, and builds a stronger team overall.
2. To strengthen SAHP’s role across highways and rural areas
SAHP has a unique responsibility that sets it apart from other departments. While most focus mainly inside the city, SAHP is responsible for highways and the outer areas, which are often overlooked. If SAHP isn’t active, those areas become unmonitored and people start taking advantage of that. I want to make sure that doesn’t happen. My goal is to make SAHP more active and visible, with proper patrols, coordination, and presence across the state. Those areas should feel just as controlled and professional as the city, and that’s something I want to achieve through consistent effort and leadership.
3. To improve professionalism and legal awareness
I want SAHP to be known as a department that handles situations properly and professionally. That means officers not only doing their job, but also understanding the law behind their actions. When we make a stop or an arrest, it should be done correctly, without mistakes or confusion. This reduces issues and builds trust in the department. With my experience in the DOJ as both an attorney and a judge, I can help guide officers and share practical knowledge that improves how they handle situations. My aim is to set a higher standard where officers are confident, well-informed, and consistent in their actions.
3. Your advice for improving the RolePlay level in the organization.
1) Fair play and equal opportunities
In SAHP, everyone should get a fair chance to prove themselves. Promotions and opportunities will be based on activity, performance, and attitude and not favoritism. Whether someone is new or experienced, they should feel like their effort actually matters. If people see things are fair, they stay motivated and put in more work.
2) Motivation through rewards and recognition
Keeping officers active is important, especially in SAHP where work can sometimes feel repetitive. I will make sure effort is noticed through bonuses, recognition, and appreciation. Whether it’s good performance in pursuits, patrol activity, or teamwork, officers should feel rewarded. This not only keeps current members motivated but also attracts new and returning players.
3) Strong and organized units within SAHP
I want SAHP to run in a structured way, where each unit or group has responsible command members who actually guide their team. Instead of random patrols, there will be clear goals, like highway monitoring, checkpoints, and coordinated operations. This keeps everyone active and improves teamwork and RP quality.
4) Proper and respected ranking system
Ranks in SAHP should be earned, not given. Everyone will go through proper evaluation before getting a position, even if they have past experience. Promotions will depend on consistency, discipline, and performance. A clear chain of command will be maintained so operations run smoothly, especially during high-pressure situations like pursuits.
5) Open and clear communication
Good communication is key in SAHP, especially during operations. I will make sure officers can easily reach out to command without hesitation. No one should feel ignored. Whether it’s help with duties, questions, or internal issues, there should always be support. A team that communicates well performs better and creates cleaner, more realistic RP.
