Hello!
I, ID 114021, was banned for 60 days by Enikan_Pruegel and afterwards permanently by Kathi Tired.
In my opinion, the whole situation is being completely taken out of context here!!! Shortly before that, we ourselves were cheated against by a player from Krieg und Gelddruck and about 15 minutes later, out of frustration, I said the sentence “I love cheaters.” The fact that this was obviously meant sarcastically should actually be clear to everyone — especially because I had massively complained about the cheater myself beforehand!!!
Important here: Enikan_Pruegel actively approached me afterwards and said himself that you can hear that the statement was meant sarcastically!!! Nevertheless, it was later turned into “Supporting Cheats” and a permanent ban was immediately issued. Honestly, that is completely disproportionate!!!
In almost 4 years on Grand, I have NEVER had anything to do with cheats!!! Not a single time!!! No cheat history, no suspicious incidents, no PC checks with relevant findings!!! And now I am being treated because of ONE obviously not seriously meant sentence as if I were some hardcore cheater or someone who actively supports cheats!!!
Yes, the statement was unnecessary — I understand that and I also behaved properly immediately when the admin spoke to me. I denied nothing, did not argue and spoke to him normally!!! But then turning that into a PERMANENT BAN is completely disproportionate to the situation!!!
If a sarcastic statement is now enough to permanently ban someone despite a completely clean history, then that is a decision that seriously has to be questioned!!!
I explicitly ask here for a renewed, objective and fair review of the case while taking the entire context into consideration!!!
I do not accept being permanently labeled as a cheat supporter because of a sarcastic sentence!!! There is simply no basis for that!!!
Best regards
Mirco
