Saying "get him, he's alone" doesn't create or progress any roleplay. It was simply used as a reason to detain and confiscate a player's items, giving an advantage that wasn't earned through RP.
If you're going to arrest someone and take their items, there needs to be actual RP behind it. You can't just use the confiscation script whenever it's convenient. If the intent was a legitimate arrest, they should have been properly processed afterward. Instead, the mechanic was used to remove a player's items right before a gang raid, creating an unfair advantage with zero roleplay justification.
