Dear PR Management and Curator of Project,

I would like to raise a complaint regarding media families and raise the request of stricter consequences for families that repeatedly have members banned for cheating.
In the past, discussions with the server leadership have been constructive and productive. However, since issues involving media families continue to reoccur, I feel the need to escalate this matter to a higher level, as I believe a broader, long-term solution is required rather than addressing each case individually.

My family has been active on DE02 for many years (longest unoff family on all servers), and throughout that time we have constantly had to deal with cheating issues coming from other families. Unfortunately, cases involving media families have often been the most problematic on our server.

Over the last two to four weeks, the situation has become increasingly frustrating. It feels like every day multiple members of the same families are being banned for cheating. Reports to the responsible media-curator usually result in the response that the situation is being reviewed (I believe that the current rules also limit the ability of the server administration to take stronger action, especially in cases involving media families, which is why clearer and stricter regulations may be necessary), but in the meantime we are still forced to compete against these players and deal with the consequences ourselves.

DE02 is already struggling with activity in events, but low participation does not mean that legaly playing players are willing to compete against cheaters.
This situation is negatively affecting the motivation of many legitimate players.

I would like to see stricter sanctions implemented, including measures that also apply to media families. Advice, conversations, and recommendations that have been provided to one Media Streamer in the past seem to be ignored, as the same issues continue to occur repeatedly.
Alternatively, I would suggest introducing a general rule for unofficial families that addresses repeated cheating cases within the same family.
Families with multiple members banned for cheating within a certain period should face escalating consequences to encourage better internal management and help maintain a fair environment for everyone.

I understand that many media members entrust the management of their families to regular players. However, if those responsible cannot properly control their recruitment and invitations, stronger action should be taken.
For example, if a family reaches a certain number of cheating bans within a month, temporary penalties such as the removal of unofficial status for a specific period could be considered.

I am writing this complaint out of frustration, but also out of concern for my own members. Many of them are currently losing motivation and are beginning to move to other games because they have lost hope that the situation will improve.

Thank you for taking the time to read this complaint.
I hope this issue will receive serious consideration and that effective measures will be implemented to protect fair play on DE02 (or other servers).

Attached you`ll find the cheating-bans, from the past few days concerning the aforementioned media families.

PS: I personally get along well with some of the streamers involved, and this complaint is not directed at any individual.
However, from my perspective, stricter consequences are necessary to ensure fairness and address these recurring issues effectively.

Regards,
Pierre
