I honestly don't know what more I could have done. I applied for the Families leadership and spent a lot of time on my application. I kept editing it again and again and tried my best to make it look professional.
When the results came out and someone else got selected it was really disappointing. What hurts me is not losing the term, it's feeling like all the effort I put in wasn't even noticed.
I have worked hard to reach every position I have ever had. Nothing was handed to me. I earned my ranks through time, dedication and experience. Many people were even DMing me saying that I would probably get the term and asking for HC positions if I became leader.
Sometimes it feels like people look at my ID and think I am new. My ID starts with 248k but if I was really inexperienced then how did I reach all these positions? How did I become FIB HOD, FIB USM, LSPD COS, DOC Director and many other high command positions?
I am proud of what I achieved because I know how much work it took. That's why this decision disappointed me so much.

Maybe I wasn't the best candidate in their eyes and I respect their final decision. But after this I don't think I will apply for leadership again.
