I am writing to appeal my ban under GR 1.3. I believe there was a major misunderstanding regarding a trade that happened recently, and I would like to explain what actually happened from my perspective.
I saw an advertisement for a monowheel and told the seller that I had an orange one. They replied with "i need rad". Since there is no color named "rad," I assumed it was a typo and they meant "red" or something else, but they still moved forward with the trade. I put the monowheel in my portable shop, and they bought it right away for 23 million.
Right after the purchase, they said they didn't want it anymore because they were looking for a red one. Even though this was entirely their mistake for not checking, I wanted to be helpful and offered to buy it back. They put it in their portable shop for 20 million, and I bought it. I offered to hand over the remaining 3 million directly. However, they demanded 4 million instead. I refused to pay 4 million because, realistically, most players wouldn't even offer a trade-back for a buyer's mistake.
We went to the bank so I could withdraw the 3 million and give it to them. At that exact moment, I had already told them that I was in a huge rush because I was running late for the gym. While we were at the bank, they suffered a "connection lost" error and dropped from the game. If they hadn't disconnected, I would have already withdrawn the money and handed it over. Since they disconnected and I was out of time, I had to leave the game as well.
The next day, I went to work. As soon as I got home, I messaged them to give the remaining money back, but they never responded. Instead of replying to me, they just waited for me to get banned and filed a forum report. The report got approved, and I was banned under GR 1.3.
I had absolutely no intention of scamming anyone. I tried my best to fix their mistake, offered a trade-back, and went to the bank to give the rest of the money, but their disconnection and lack of communication caused this mess.
Even though I believe I did nothing wrong and acted in good faith, I promise to be much more careful with my trades in the future. I kindly request you to review this case and lift my ban.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Best Regards,
Anil Foxx
