First of all, I would like to wish the administration team a good day.
I would like to provide an explanation regarding the incident in question. As can be seen, my character has an approved Corruption Biography. Within the scope of this biography, I am allowed to create false pretexts when necessary in order to identify or apprehend individuals.
During the situation, I was telling people that I was searching for a wanted suspect and that I needed to check their passports for that reason. I approached the player in question and requested their passport. The player did not ask me why I wanted to see their passport or question my request in any way. Therefore, I did not provide any further explanation.
Additionally, the player was not in Sleeping Mode. Despite this, they completely ignored my request to show their passport. As a result, I detained the player for failing to comply with my lawful order and later proceeded to rob them.
Yesterday, at approximately 12:00 server time, I experienced a very similar situation. During that incident, an administrator approached me, and I explained that if they read my biography, they would understand the reasoning behind my actions.
For this reason, I believe the punishment I received was incorrect. The player never asked me for an explanation, so there was no opportunity for me to provide one. Had they asked why I wanted to see their passport, I would have explained the justification that I had established under the scope of my Corruption Biography. Since the player did not respond to me at all, I did not see a reason to provide a lengthy explanation to someone who was completely ignoring the interaction.
Additionally, before robbing this player, I made several attempts to initiate and continue the roleplay. While the player was not in Sleeping Mode, I repeatedly fired warning shots into the air and instructed them to fear for their life and comply with the situation.
In a recording that I no longer have, it was also clearly visible that the player committed FearRP violations when i try to rob her after the part she didint add she refusing to react appropriately despite the circumstances. However, because I believed the player might not have been fully attentive at the time, I chose not to submit or use that recording. I felt that doing so would not have been fair and preferred to approach the situation in good faith.
Unfortunately, it now appears that this goodwill may have been taken advantage of. I still wanted to mention this as additional context regarding the incident and my actions throughout the roleplay.
