When I was in the organization, she and her friends constantly messaged me asking why their friends had not been promoted. However, I was following the organization's rules and regulations and making promotion decisions based on performance and eligibility, not personal relationships.
Because I refused to give promotions outside of the established procedures, she began targeting me and repeatedly sent me messages in my DMs. Whenever I explained that I would only promote employees according to the organization's rules, she would respond with vulgar language and harassment. She would also encourage her friends to insult me, and one of them sent me numerous abusive messages in DMs as well.
I consulted an administrator regarding the situation and was informed that complaints could not be made based solely on personal Discord DMs. Despite this, the harassment continued. She and her friends later called me and continued to insult and provoke me. After being subjected to repeated harassment and abuse for an extended period, I eventually reacted in anger and responded inappropriately.
What I do not understand is why I am the only person being punished. When she submitted her report, she deleted her own messages and only presented evidence that blamed me, while leaving out the context of her own behavior and the actions of her friends. If this matter is being reviewed fairly, then all parties involved and the full context of the situation should be considered, not just the messages that were selectively presented against me.
