Life story:
During Jose Esquella’s early years being born and raised on the streets of Tijuana. He had learned to adapt to the overwhelming violence and criminal activity. He had set out on joining the Mexican Federal Police when he had become of age. His reasoning was to ensure that he wouldn’t fail his parents that he promised he wouldn’t fall into the dark side of Tijuana that was known for.
After joining and passing his probation phase within the Federales, he was tasked with working with investigating major crimes within Tijuana where he had become an informant for major drug cartels.
During his time working as an informant, he had learned different techniques to use dis-information to gain any advantage against anyone he wanted to. With this he was able to deceive both the Federales and other Cartels until he had deceived the wrong person high-up within the Federales. Which caused an internal investigation upon him where he was investigated for corruption and having affiliations with cartels to benefit himself.
Due to this federal investigation, this is where he decided to flee Tijuana to the United State by illegally crossing the border. During this process, he encountered a coyote who was able to settle him down in Blaine County, Los Santos. After he had settled, he would then set out on becoming a citizen of Los Santos by using fake information using techniques he had learned from his former career. During this process he had stumbled upon a small family gathering inside the city of Los Santos which would become his most trusted people due to the nature of having only a close circle of people who he had trusted throughout his life and this family he would soon to know as the “Halloways”.
