Shershah grew up in a town near Los Santos. He was 12 years old when his older brother died from a heart problem. This was a sad time for his family. His father was so hurt that he started drinking much. The house was filled with anger and sadness. Shershah often felt lonely because he did not have love or support at home. His father was mean to him and he felt like he had to leave. When he was a teenager he started hanging out with the crowd. He joined the Vipers gang because he wanted to feel safe and have friends. He got into fights. Did some bad things.. After a while Shershah realized that being in a gang was not good for him. He wanted a life so he decided to leave the Vipers. He wanted to be on his own. Make a good life for himself.

On Shershah started working in the medical field. He met his friend Itachi, who was a doctor. Itachi thought Shershah was smart and could do a job so he told him to try it. Shershah was good at science so he decided to give it a shot. He started as a helper. Worked very hard. He studied a lot. Was determined to do well. Slowly he became one of the doctors in the city. People liked him because he was kind and cared about his patients. He was an inspiration because he showed that someone who had a childhood could still do great things.. After he was successful for a while Shershah started to change. He was afraid of being poor so he became obsessed with money. He wanted to be rich and powerful. Shershah started to focus on making money. He made deals, with big medicine companies and took money to promote their products even if they were not the best choice. The kind doctor he used to be was. Now he was a cold person who only cared about making money. He saw his patients as a way to get rich not as people who needed help. This was the start of his side, known as Shershah Viper.
