Dear Higher Management / Curator of the Project,
I am writing this appeal regarding my 60 days ban. The reason stated for my ban is "Project Disrespect," which is factually incorrect and shows a clear misunderstanding by the administrator who issued it.
I do not deny playing a protest song in the game. However, that protest was strictly directed at specific administrators (such as Austin Issac and Ozzie Mane) who constantly apply double standards, abuse their admin power, and ignore the core principles of roleplay (such as handing out punishments based on contextless submissions and 3rd party reports without knowing the actual roleplay background).Video link, that showes one of that cases.
To put it into perspective: even in real life, if two people have no complaints against each other, a case is dropped. Yet, as you will notice in the video, the player with ID 487129—whom we didn't even interact with—stood there, completely ignorant of our roleplay context, and arbitrarily called an admin on us. The admin then arrived and, without investigating the background of the situation, explicitly stated, "Complaint was raised and it is not allowed" (as you can clearly see in the video link provided below). He acted solely on an uninformed 3rd party's report, instantly jailing two friends and completely ruining our roleplay. Video link 1. Video link 2.
When we asked him for a valid explanation regarding why he did this, he dismissively told us, "If you think the decision is wrong, you can appeal." He knew perfectly well that by the time I opened a complaint and it got reviewed, my jail time would already be over. He relied on the assumption that I wouldn't bother filing a complaint for a served sentence, effectively using the slow forum process as a shield to dodge accountability and ignore the players. The following link includes evidence supporting these statements: Video link.
My grievance and frustration are 100% with these specific admins, not with the Grand RP project. I enjoy playing on this server, trading, and spending my time here. If I disrespected the project, I wouldn't have invested so much time into my character. The administrators who banned me cannot differentiate between "criticizing their bad management" and "hating the server." They used "Project Disrespect" as an excuse to silence a player who exposed their flaws. The link at the end of the sentence contains the song I mentioned, and you can listen to it and make up your own mind. The song only protests against admins; it doesn’t mention anything about the Grand RP server or project. I’d like to ask you to keep this in mind. Video link.
I stand firmly behind my stance against these double standards. I am still frustrated by how these admins treat players. However, I acknowledge that expressing my anger through a diss track in a public area was an emotional reaction and a violation of server etiquette.
This action clearly falls under Admin Disrespect / Provocation, not Project Disrespect. I am fully willing to accept the correct and standard punishment (mute, demorgan, or a ban) for Admin Disrespect. I am not asking to go unpunished. I am asking for the project management to apply the correct rule, lower this unjust 60 days ban to a temporary one, and stop admins from using "Project Disrespect" to protect their own egos.
Thank you for your time and fair evaluation.
