We had a hostage situation with an officer. We gave him a clear chance to comply with our members and demanded him to pull over but he didnt and only then we used force after he refused and tried to run into a green zone (doc). When the helicopters landed and sahp car arrived, they started shooting without demands without talking, negotiating, or even checking if their own officer was safe.
Timelines:
- 0:43 — We block the officer's vehicle.
- 0:50–1:11 — Instead of complying, he tries to run, attempting to reach DOC (an unregistered green zone). Situation escalates and they start shooting, the officer gets downed.
- 2:16–2:32 — We patch him up and hold him at gunpoint next to the vehicles. This is a standard hostage sit, no shots are fired at him while he's down or after we patched him.
- 2:30–3:17 — Helicopters lands and SAHP CAR arrives and they immediately started shooting at us. There is no visible demand, warning, or negotiation attempt before this they didn't wait did any talking, nothing.
Rules broken;
GR 6.15 — Must RP/give demands before shooting
"When outside the GHETTO you must engage in RP before shooting someone. For example issue them demands and if they do not listen to your demands within 5 seconds you can shoot them."
Failure to negotiate a hostage situation
Legal orgs (LSPD/FIB/SAHP) are expected to attempt negotiation before storming a hostage situation, especially when their own officer is the hostage. Here, LSPD, SAHP skipped negotiation entirely and went straight to a firefight, showing no concern for their officer who got clearly hit and downed in the crossfire.
Fail RP
Possibly MK
They killed their one of their own, possibly breaking rule of MK.
Thank you for your time.
