Application for Leader of EMS

Why do you want to be a leader of EMS?
It all started almost 1 year back when I first came to the city. Healthcare is the most important aspect of a city. It helps us keep our citizen healthy and help them to live a happy and healthy life. Being a doctor is not just a profession, but its about passion as well. In EMS, we cherish the dream of being a doctor for everyone who has the motivation and willingness to be one. Without the EMS, this city will never be able to function properly and effectively. I have been a part of the EMS for over 3 terms, working under 3 amazing chiefs I have learnt a lot about running an organization. I have also served as an FTO training young talents and help them become amazing doctors.

Now I believe I have what it takes to lead this organization and make it better than before but ensuring all the employees are co ordinating and communicating effectively.

With the help of some well reputed high commands I will ensure that this organization runs effectively and efficiently.


Why are my targets and course of action as a leader of EMS?
1. Covering Lobbies and On Call : Ensure all the lobbies are covered all the time and we have people on call.

2. Enforce Hiring : I will ensure that we are never short stuffed by ensuring that we organize recruitment drive very frequently
and we are checking the forms regularly.

3. Restructure the Day : I have suggested this one once before in the emails, and I believe this will help ems to function better than ever. I will divide the day into 4 part.
Q1 : 08:00 - 14:00,
Q2 : 14:00 - 20:00,
Q3: 20:00 - 02:00
Q4: 02:00 - 08:00

I will focus on hiring based on the timeslot and will ensure that the employees do prioritize the time slot of the day while they come to the city and are in duty. This will ensure better co ordinating among stuff and will help ensuring that the lobbies are covered and there are people on call.

4. Restructuring the bonus system : I will redesign the bonus structure for all the employees and the bonus system will depend heavily on the hourly timeslot, since I have seen that the Q1 and Q2 will be most difficult to cover and care for.

5. Enforce better training : During my time as FTO, I implemented and easier and simpler manual and a checklist for better training. That approach was widely popular, and all the FTOs loved it and followed that checklist widely. I will redesign the training process as a combination of video guide followed by a small session by a FTO focusing the most important aspect. This session by FTO will not be just a question answer session, but also a way to ensure the growth and learning of the new trainee.

6. Ensure friendly and professional environment In the org as well as across org : I will ensure that everyone are professional and act professionally even if there is any issue. I believe if we stay professional, it will be easier for all of us to overcome any problem or issues that we face. I will ensure that EMS has a friendly and professional relationship with all the other organizations and and will ensure that all of our employees act and behave accordingly to make sure that EMS becomes the most functioning, hard working, friendly and professional organization in the city where everyone will love to work.

7. Help our employees socialize more outside work : In my experience, more time our employees spend outside of work, the better they will be able to co ordinate and communicate on duty. So I will ensure that we organize enough social event so that the employees get to know each other better and become better employees along the way.

8. Talk to the HC session : 3 times a week I will allocate 30 mins of my time where I will be personally talk to all the employees who has faced any issue and who are in need of help. I want to assure my employees that No matter what I have got their back. I will encourage everyone to ask more question to the high command.
If a employee makes any realistic suggestion that has the potential to make the EMS better, I will give him a chance to come in front of the HC panel and present his idea. If his idea is found to make the EMS better, and all the HC agree to that, the idea will be implemented and the employee will receive an award.

9. Selection of HC : I will ensure that the most deserving and dedicated person get into the high command. SO while choosing my HC I will give more priority to the people with proven track record in this city, who are knows for their dedicating and professionalism.

10. Better Body Cam Usage : I will enforce the usage of bodycam for all employees and will introduce a weekly reword for using body cam. This will encourage people to use body cam more, and will help us to investigate if any event occurs.


Advice for improving the roleplay level in the organization:

As an organization we will ensure that all the employees follow the best standards and follow proper protocol while performing their duties.
I will encourage people more to cover the SH lobbies.
We will also focus on having at least 1 chopper on call else, a lot of people are left untreated.

If there is any emergency situation (Hostage of event) we will ensure that EMS has an active participation.
Regular background checks for all employees to ensure that our employees are never a part of any illegal activity.
I will ensure that when we are hiring some one they are well aware of the city rules and the rp rules which will make sure that our employees are involved in less questionable situation.

I am in this city since a long time. And I think I can add real value to this org and make this org better than ever and ensure that EMS performs effectively and efficiently. I thank everyone for taking their time to go though my application.

You didn't do anything in my term, what you did is only taking LOA back to back. And Steve's term you trained only few of trainees when he was facing difficulties with FTO and other HC's trained a lot of people.

totally understand. I could not come due to some IRL issues. Anyway its all sorted. And Now I am in the city for over 10 hours, anyway. Hopefully I will get the chance to prove you wrong.

You wont have to say sorry. a fact is a fact. Yes I was on loa for over 14 days. And I dont hide that fact for even 1 bit.
