My POV here. I wasnt too far to you guys also i was moving forward when i shooting with AR. Also im getting hit too from that distance on the last seconds of the video you can see clearly.

it can do pretty much everything . Speed of bullets , range , maybe damage , time to shoot , recoil . Thats why people dont get caught . Its all in gta files . I know how to find and do these things but dont do it because its lowkey weird
