On 20th of October my account was blocked by an admin called Adham_Pluxury for using a gym-bot. I now understand this breaks the General Rule 4.1 "Hacking and use of software".
I had recently learned that going to the gym and gaining a higher power level increases your carrying weight, so I decided to head to the beach gym to workout and grind it out. This was not my first time at the gym however, I have previously spent some time there to see whats what and what it does. I am a very new player in Grand RP, and was still figuring things out.
During my time at the gym, on 20th of October, I decided to blindfully try out a macro from my Synapse, for pressing "E". I have previously seen people do long sessions at the gym among other places like quarries and fishing, where people do the same thing over and over again, like machines, yet only a few are there to answer you when you try to talk with them. I have seen people talk about them in videos countless of times. All this gave a very deceiving image of the legitimacy of using macros. I have red the rules and in the examples for General Rule 4.1 it is stated that the use of bots are prohibited. From my past experiences from other video games bots and macros are very different. A bot is a code you download to replicate player behavior to either deceive admins or avoid the AFK timer, where a macro is only a simple button press. I now understand that in Grand RP they are viewed as same. I did not use the macro for a long time, but enough for my character to enter the "sleeping" state (as a new player I still do not fully understand what this means). I was on my pc and in the game while I was doing this, until I had an emergency situation in real life. My girlfriend yelled for me to come help her as she was feeling sick and said she might black out. I went to help her and left the macro running.
When I came back I was met with Adham_Pluxury asking how I was working out while in "sleeping" state, and why I didn't answer him right away. I explained the situation and told him the truth right away. At this time Adham_Pluxury was very calm and listened to what I had to say. During my time of using the gym at this time, had led my power level to be increased from level 1 to level 2, I believe I was somewhat close to level 2 already since I had previously used the gym, and spent an OK amount of time there during those first couple of times.
I understand this forum is a place of "Complaints about administrators and assistants", not a place to beg for unban. My complaint leads to what happened after I had explained my situation to Adham_Pluxury. He said "That's a nope for me" and ran away without further explaining what happens next and what I had done wrong. This led me extremely confused and not understanding what had happened and what will happen. I would've hoped more insight to the matter and this experience left a taste of not caring about the players or guiding them the do's and don'ts for the next time.
I was and still am a very new player and very new to any gta rp servers. Grand RP is my very first rp server and I'm sure most of you reading this have been just as new and naive and learning from what other players do and say around you. Giving a straight 60 day ban without any warnings, guidance or explanation to what's going to happen to someone who doesn't yet know any better, seems off. I hope you understand my point of view of this matter.
