Backstory:
The origins of this family are - The Peaky Blinders originally come from very poor living conditions and economic hardship which was a major issue and dominated industrial England during the late Nineteenth Century. One of the main issues was poverty, and due to this, formation of gangs had begun with young boys taking up pickpocketing as a way of earning a bit of money to get through these hard times. The Peaky Blinders originated and emerged from Small Health in Birmingham, with the family name first being reported in a news paper article dating back to March 1890 which described a brutal assault on an individual. The main ways The Peaky Blinders had gained enormous amounts of control in their city, Birmingham, was to do with an increase in violence and bribery. Using these to their advantage, they managed to take control of a large portion of their city. However, just taking over one city was not enough... There is always ways to expand. Through the assistance of arms dealers, the family started taking men abroad to Los Santos to run businesses there such as dealing arms, drugs and also burgling homes to sell off the things found inside. The family grew and grew in this city, and is still growing to the point that they are here to stay.
Where does the name originate from?:
The name The Peaky Blinders is a reference to the gang's exquisite way of dressing. This relates to the tailoring of clothes and the elegance behind it. Peaky referred to any flat cap with a peak, which was quite popular in the olden times. And the word Blinders comes from an individual looking dapper in the way they dressed.
With a few minor changes to go inline with Los Santos, this is the code of conduct we follow:
1. The Peaky Blinders family accepts all people of all backgrounds. It does not matter if you are a LEO or a member of a Gang.
2. We are a family and we act like it. We treat everyone the same, whether they are a new member or an old one.
3. We request you act with elegance and grace in public to protect our family's respect and name. Please do not get the family into any trouble.
4. We keep innocent people safe and will not harm them on the streets. If a stray bullet hits an innocent man, you will be scolded for it.
5. There is no begging allowed inside the family. Under NO circumstances.
The Peaky Blinders will not judge anyone for any reason at all. Everyone is equal to us. Whether rich or poor. This does not affect us. They will all be treated with the same respect they show to us.
The Peaky Blinders family has massive goals we hope to achieve including:
1. Producing many high command and leaders across the city to gain power and respect.
2. Gaining wealth not alone but as a family to buy businesses to continue to gain wealth.
3. Making sure no matter who they are people have a home in The Peaky Blinders.
4. Becoming one of the best families in Los Santos and making a name for ourselves.
5. Making our members all as wealthy as we can and distributing the money made from events evenly.
Leaders:
The 3 leaders of the family have all been a part of The Peaky Blinders since childhood. Going back to years ago, they joined as young street thieves stealing bread, pickpocketing and doing various activities just to make ends meet. They grew stronger by facing tough times and going through it together. After succeeding from one challenge to the next, they started to rise through the ranks until they reached the very top. The 3 leaders were chosen to run Los Santos. From being not even top 100 a few weeks ago to now being in the top 40 is a big accomplishment, and the next step for the leaders is to make it to the top 25 families in the city.
Family Outfit: Colours: A suit. Need to have the Peaky hat! For yellow events, blue hoodie.
Ranking System:
(each rank is in ascending order 1-10 all but 10 are obtainable)
Rank 1 - Errand Boy: Learning our ways including activities and are new. This is basically our trial period.
Rank 2 - Pig Farmer: Knows basic things about the family.
Rank 3 - Foot Soldier: Knows the rules for robbing and can explain it to other Errand Boys and Pig Farmers. This is the rank for most members. From here on you are truly in the Peaky Blinders.
Rank 4 - Gouger: Soldiers of the family. Reliable in events.
Rank 5 - Dealer: Fight sub-leads. Good shooters. Must go to informal when you can. (MUST HAVE REVOLVER SKILL AND PROVE IT TO OBTAIN THIS RANK)
Rank 6 - Slasher: Fight leads. Able to lead events under the command of rank 7 and will be the highest rank attainable under the high command.
Rank 7 - Enforcer: Manages (events, businesses, etc.) Able to lead, organise, and carry out plans for events/businesses.
Rank 8 - Cut Throat: Deputies / Underbosses. Good leaders who assist the bosses in their duties and serve as the underbosses in the family.
Rank 9 - Shelby: Leader / Boss of the family and the highest attainable rank. These are the people in charge and their command is absolute.
Rank 10 - Shotty Shane: The current chairman of the organization who leads the family.
