Background Story
COVID-19 hit the entire world with full force out of nowhere. Once successful businesses crashed, families went bankrupt, job security was scarce. The world we once knew perished as COVID hit like a hurricane, leaving the world dishevelled and completely upside down. Because of the worldly economical collapse Playboy Magazine and its multitude of businesses went down the drain. Reluctantly, bankruptcy was filed and all our assets were repossessed on the condition that the family could keep the Playboy mansion in order to be passed down for generations. As the cash from our remaining assets dried up and the economy continued to crumble, many of the beginning Playboy members turned to illegal activities as a way to make quick cash. Some sold drugs, some did errands for gangs for petty cash, and some went to blue collar jobs. And, while this wasn’t the money they were used to, it was the money they had to get used to in order to make it in the world that COVID-19 gave them.
One of the founding members of Playboy tried a last ditch effort at becoming governor and, much to his surprise due to lack of campaign funding, Black Opium won with a landslide victory. This is where the new rise of Playboy began. The name was immediately changed to Playboy Enterprises in order to shed old Playboy ideas and bring in new ones. From that point on Playboy Enterprises began buying businesses in order to put on the façade of a legal family for its early days within the city. While buying businesses Playboy Enterprises ran into a smaller family by the name of Cosa Nostra. After realizing that they all had common goals, the families decided to merge and keep the name Playboy Enterprises. Through their hotel business Playboy Enterprises welcomes new people to the city through their hotel by giving out rides, giving free rooms, and passing out money. And who doesn’t love free money?
Being squeaky clean is cool and all but, unfortunately, that’s just now how Playboy rolled and it sure as hell wasn’t going to be how Playboy Enterprises rolled. The founders hatched a scheme to take advantage of the current pandemic by smuggling COVID-19 vaccines into the city and selling them to regular citizens at a high price while the rich got the vaccines from their private doctors. And why stop at vaccines when Class A drugs exist? Class A drugs were also smuggled into the city under the guise of Covid Vaccines.
To our greatest dismay Hugh Hefner died of an overdose on Viagra before he could see Playboy Enterprises rise to the fame it has today. Fortunately he had one final ride, if you know what I mean, before he left this world and passed the mansion down to Marcin Reaper. Reaper took the mansion under his wings and turned this house into the most beautiful property in the city. And if you visit us during the night time you can see Playboy Enterprises return to its old roots of that magazine you probably hid under your bed from your parents.
Current State
After a few pristine terms Black Opium stepped down as governor to focus on Playboy Enterprises more. Playboy Enterprises isn’t afraid to put on our sun hats, boots, and overalls in order to milk and feed our cows or harvest any crops we have. And we also aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty by steadily cleaning our hotel lobbies and rooms in suggestive maid outfits. However, in between milking cows, cleaning the hotel, harvesting crops, and having parties at our house or club, we also fight against other families for weapons and power. Power in this city determines where you are on the food chain, and Playboy Enterprises makes it part of our mission to stay on the top. You are fish, and we are the great white sharks you always look behind your shoulder for when the sea is too calm and far too quiet. Be very afraid.
